COLORED
Location: DOLPHIN VENUE
Take a deep breath, exhale, you are now in Montgomery in Alabama in the 1950s. You’ve become Claudette Colvin, an ordinary 15 year-old black girl. On March 2nd, 1955, Claudette refused to vacate her seat for a white person and got arrested. In the past, no one was brave enough to fight racial segregation like Claudette but no one remembered her name.
In 9 months, Rosa Parks did the same thing and became a hero who inspired the civil rights movement. History was changed. Claudette made everything possible but she was forgotten. This work is adapted from the book of the same name by the French writer, Tania de Montaigne. On April 20th, 2023, it was premiered at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats

Rave was an important cultural symbol for the youth in the late 1980s. This interactive VR experience was produced by East City Films and BPM XR. The audience is taken to the Rave scenes on a night in the UK as the youth of that time would hold parties illegally in abandoned warehouses across the country.
The Rave cultural scenes range from bedrooms full of posters to pirate radio stations, from the police headquarters to secret warehouses. You will be thrilled as you see their wild partying and even having a reckless police chase. In this well produced VR interactive experience, the audience will move along as they share this secret event with the DJs, the bands, the police and music.
