The Kaohsiung Film Festival will be held from Saturday, Oct. 7th to Sunday, Oct. 22nd. The annual theme: Aestheticism, presents immersive aesthetic films from Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and Europe, as well as the most iconic Death in Venice, making film lovers linger in the world of films beyond reality.

The festival features various program such as Classic Only in Cinema, Beyond Imagination, and Atypical Panorama. There are also brilliant programs like the International Short Film Competition, Kaohsiung Shorts, Tribute to the Master, Director in Focus, and Kids Fantasy. The 23rd edition of Kaohsiung Film Festival will satisfy all film lovers.

XR Dreamland

One of the most recognized immersive festivals in Asia, XR Dreamland is here along with the 2023 Kaohsiung Film Festival. From Saturday, Oct. 7th to Sunday, Oct. 22nd, 」the selected projects will be shown at the main venue of the TTXC at the Coral Zone of Kaohsiung Music Center and the VR FILM LAB at Pier 2.

XR Dreamland is , bringing over 30 exceptional works that skillfully combining the latest technology and storytelling to Kaohsiung. The Annual Focus centers on a hybrid reality projects that allow multiple viewers to share the experience simultaneously. The International Panorama includes visual masterworks of virtual reality, augmented reality, hybrid reality, and offsite showcases. Kaohsiung Original presents locally-made masterpieces, while the XR Competition brings the best XR works beyond reality from around the world.
